Personnel Training and Engagement
Human nature is darn hard to overcome. Criminals use phishing and spear phishing to tactics to get just that one “click” that can bring down your entire organization. KNOWPHISH was developed to help combat this by engaging employees on a regular basis and helping ensure that they are on their toes against this relentless threat.
KNOWPHISH is a site that is to be periodically visited by your employees. The site pushes entertaining, engaging and informative content to your employees. New phishing campaigns come out on a weekly basis. KNOWPHISH tracks them and keeps your employees informed as to the latest threats. The videos are short, informative and don’t wear people out. Employees quickly disconnect with long, boring content and exams, so we’ve made it easy to keep their attention.
This is the most difficult piece in the cyber security puzzle and curiosity, fear, greed and obeying a superior are all things that will lead people to try and find out more. Don’t click it until you call first!
Office Audit Checklist
Do you leave the keys in your car with the engine running when you’ve reached your destination? Probably not. Then why leave the keys to your network out in the open where they are easily compromised by cyber criminals.?
New devices installed with the factory security still in place, password, admin anyone? Take a look around, are passwords in plain site? Are there valuable documents on desks at the end of the day?
These are the easiest problems to fix, but any single deficiency represents a liability to your company if compromised. Use the Omnicron Office Audit Checklist to go through your physical assets and make sure you’re covering the bases.
